- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- 1️⃣ Cream the Butter and Sugar• Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. • Mix in egg and vanilla until smooth.
- 2️⃣ Combine Dry Ingredients• Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. • Gradually add to wet mixture.
- 3️⃣ Add Toffee and Shape• Stir in toffee bits. • Scoop and roll dough in sugar.
- 4️⃣ Bake• Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes. • Edges should be golden and centers slightly soft.
- 5️⃣ Cool• Cool 5 minutes on sheet before transferring to rack.
Notes
- These cookies freeze well, so you can make them ahead of time.
- Substitute chocolate chips for toffee bits for a different flavor.
