Description

Delicious caramel apple cookies drizzled with caramel sauce, perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice apples into small pieces; toss with cinnamon and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chopped apples until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden.
  9. Let cookies cool slightly on the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Drizzle caramel sauce over the warm cookies and serve.

Notes

  • Make sure the apples are small enough to distribute evenly throughout the dough.
