A simple and delicious glaze to decorate sugar cookies.
Ingredients

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- optional food coloring (gel-based preferred)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and corn syrup until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Adjust consistency as needed with small amounts of milk or powdered sugar.
- Divide glaze and add food coloring if desired.
- Use a piping bag, spoon, or squeeze bottle to glaze cooled sugar cookies.
- Let cookies dry at room temperature for 4–6 hours until glaze is fully set.
Notes
- This glaze can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container.
- For a thicker consistency, add more powdered sugar; for a thinner consistency, add more milk.
