Description
A delicious and quick beef and broccoli stir fry recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Slice the beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips.
- Marinate the beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for about 10 minutes.
- While marinating, wash and cut broccoli into bite-sized florets.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add marinated beef to the skillet in an even layer; sear for about 2 minutes without stirring.
- Stir in broccoli, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Add a splash of water to steam the broccoli while cooking until everything is heated through.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of soy sauce to taste if you prefer it saltier.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
