Description

Delicious halibut fillets topped with a creamy garlic parmesan mixture, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Butter softened
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp Green onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 dash Tabasco
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 pieces Halibut fillets 1 inch thick

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a baking dish just large enough to hold the halibut fillets without overcrowding.
  2. Combine the softened butter, mayonnaise, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, chopped green onions, crushed garlic, Tabasco, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients form a smooth, creamy paste.
  3. Pat the halibut fillets completely dry with paper towels and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic Parmesan mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the topping turns golden brown and bubbles around the edges.
  6. Let the halibut rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve immediately while the topping is still crispy.
