Description
A refreshing blend of ginger, oranges, and lemons for a healthy boost!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium oranges, peeled and cut into wedges
- 2 medium lemons, peeled and cut into wedges
- ½ cup (100 grams) fresh ginger, peeled and cut into small chunks (adjust more or less depending on how strong you like it)
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups coconut water (or substitute with water)
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth, 30 to 60 seconds.
- Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, using a spoon to help push the juice through. (For an extra-smooth shot, use a cheesecloth or nut milk bag instead.)
- Use a funnel to fill small glasses or shot bottles with the juice. Repeat until all juice is poured.
- Seal the bottles or cover the glasses and place them in the refrigerator to chill before enjoying.
- Store your ginger shots in airtight bottles or jars in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, but they taste best within 3 to 5 days.
Notes
- Adjust ginger quantity depending on desired strength.
- Can substitute coconut water with regular water.
