Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (2 sheets)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup cooked protein (ham, chicken, or veggies)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp fresh herbs (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface until even and cut into squares (6 inches wide).
  3. Place cheese and protein in the center of each square; season to taste.
  4. Fold over to seal edges using a fork.
  5. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
