Ingredients

- 1 package puff pastry sheets (2 sheets)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup cooked protein (ham, chicken, or veggies)
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2 tsp fresh herbs (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface until even and cut into squares (6 inches wide).
- Place cheese and protein in the center of each square; season to taste.
- Fold over to seal edges using a fork.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
