- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), softened

- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk (or buttermilk)
- ½ cup granulated sugar (for glaze)
- ¼ cup milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time to the creamed mixture, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before drizzling with the glaze made from combining sugar and milk.
Notes
- This cake can be served as is or glazed for extra sweetness.
- Use buttermilk for a richer flavor.
