Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and finely chop the strawberries.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
- Gradually add flour while mixing on low speed until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in chopped strawberries without squishing them.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges turn golden brown; centers should remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
