Description

This classic bundt cake is light, buttery, and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For best results, measure flour correctly by spooning it into the measuring cup and leveling it off.
