- 8 low-moisture string cheese sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups crushed Hot Cheetos
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Set up three stations: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed Hot Cheetos.
- Roll each cheese stick in flour, dip it into the beaten eggs, then coat it in crushed Hot Cheetos.
- Place the coated cheese sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat (about 350°F).
- Fry the cheese sticks for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with marinara sauce or ranch dressing.
Notes
- Freezing the cheese sticks helps maintain their shape while frying.
