- 4 skin-on chicken legs
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, minced garlic, cilantro, oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add chicken legs to the marinade and coat evenly. Marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or grill over medium-high heat.
- Arrange marinated chicken legs on a baking sheet or grill rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes or grill until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), turning occasionally.
- For crispy skin, switch the oven to broil during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
